All-On-One COBRA Information Poster
NOTE: As the Affordable Care Act takes over the nation's health care system, COBRA continuation coverage is becoming obsolete, or superseded by options available on the state and federal health care marketplaces.
The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) and state COBRA laws require covered employers to offer continuation of health benefits when a qualifying event occurs, such as termination of employment.
Under COBRA, employers must provide a general notice explaining COBRA continuation coverage to employee health plan participants and provide additional notices to terminated workers regarding eligibility and election of coverage options. Failure to comply with COBRA notice requirements can result in penalties of $110 per violation per day.
To help employers notify health plan participants about their rights to continuation coverage, Personnel Concepts has developed an all-in-one notification poster solution. Our All-in-One COBRA Information Poster includes five COBRA notices to ensure multi-level compliance with general notice requirements and inform health plan participants of their rights and obligations under the law.
Our All-In-One COBRA Information Poster includes the following important notices:
- General notice
- FAQs on health care reform and COBRA
- Employer notice requirements
- State COBRA laws
- Summary of qualifying events
